Fostering
Fostering is a great way to learn about cats and see if a cat may be the right pet for you. Do you love kittens? Fostering means you’ll have a constant rotation of little kitties to care for.
Application Process
- Complete a foster application.
- Text (951) 444-9108 to set up an appointment for a virtual home visit.
- Once approved as a foster, read and fill out our fostering agreement.
We are always in need of volunteers to help us complete critical tasks for the rescue. (Bonus: most of them involve playing with adorable kitties!) You will be supported by our team of foster coordinators, behavior specialists, and adoption program volunteers who can show you the ropes. We pride ourselves in having a great volunteer experience!
We need volunteers to help with:
- Spending time with our Petco/PetSmart cats and cleaning their kennels
- Transporting cats to and from adoption events, vet appointments, etc.
- Working adoption events (talking to prospective adopters, playing with available cats, etc.)
- Writing bios, drafting adoption agreements, and tracking medical history for adoptable cats
- Maintaining our website and developing new workflow solutions

Not ready for the commitment of fostering but still want to be hands-on with the cats? Volunteer your time!
